About
The Event

A clear example is AstraZeneca's US$1.5 billion, 58-acre ADC manufacturing facility in Tuas, Singapore—its largest first-stage investment to date. With construction underway and the facility targeting completion in 2029, the project reflects the scale of infrastructure now required to support next-generation medicines, including ADCs, biologics, cell and gene therapies and vaccines.

As companies across APAC expand and modernise their R&D and manufacturing footprint, the challenge is no longer simply building more capacity. The focus is on delivering complex, GMP-compliant facilities faster while managing containment, advanced process technologies, clean utilities, automation, qualification, sustainability and long-term flexibility.

The APAC Biopharma Facility Expansion Summit brings together biopharma manufacturers, biotech companies, CDMOs, CROs, engineering and project leaders, and technology providers to discuss the investments, strategies and partnerships required to successfully deliver large-scale capital projects.

Hosted in Singapore, Asia's leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing and innovation hub, the summit will examine every stage of the facility expansion lifecycle, from investment planning and facility design to modular construction, laboratory and manufacturing infrastructure, automation, commissioning, qualification, sustainability and operational readiness.

Through real-world case studies, expert insights and peer-to-peer discussions, attendees will gain practical strategies to accelerate project delivery, enhance manufacturing flexibility and build resilient, high-performance facilities that support the future of biopharmaceutical development.
